Youth Dance Festival of New Jersey

An annual two day event, the Youth Dance Festival of NJ, attracts young dancers from all over the United States and internationally.  It is designed to be an artistic and educational exchange among dancers and dance teachers.  The event consists of a competition, workshop classes lead by Christine Dakin of Martha Graham Dance Co., Hector Zaraspe, 34 year Julliard faculty member and Luigi, the Jazz Legend, and concludes with an awards ceremony and Gala Performance which features professional dacners from Battleworks, Buglisi Dance Theatre and New Jersey Ballet and selections from across the participating dance schools.  For more information visit www.ydfofnj.org.
